Join us for our next Congregational Meal.  We will celebrate Thanksgiving with a luncheon on Sunday, November 17 immediately following the service.  Bring a side dish or dessert to share. 

HURRICANE HELENE
Prayer for those affected by Hurricane Helene.  Donate to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to help recovery efforts.

HANGING OF THE GREENS
Join us Sunday, November 17, for a meal immediately following the service and then stay to help decorate for the upcoming Advent season.

STEWARDSHIP
We would like you to prayerfully consider giving a tithe to God so that our church can fulfill God’s mission in this world and completing a pledge card for 2025. Please pick up a pledge card in the back of the sanctuary.  Simply return the card to the office, place in the offering or email the church.

There are three ways to become a member of First Presbyterian Church: by Profession of Faith, by Reaffirmation of Faith, and by Letter of Transfer.  As you prayerfully consider your decision to become a member of First Presbyterian Church, we encourage you to speak to Rev. BLESSING BOX DONATIONS NEEDED
Please keep in mind that most folks utilizing the Blessing Box do not have access to a can opener (pop-top preferable) or means to cook the items.
Examples of donated items include:  Peanut butter, mixed fruit snack. snack crackers, pop tarts, tuna or chicken salad kit, Vienna sausages.  
Non food examples include:  Travel size toothbrushes, travel size toothpaste, small bars of soap, wash cloth.  You may drop off items in the Fellowship Hall in the Lutcher Building or place them directly in the box.  Thank you so much for helping!

FPCO BRIDGE GROUP
FPCO has a Bridge Group!  Join us on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. at the Lutcher Memorial Building.  If you are interested in learning and playing Bridge, contact the church office at 409-883-2097.

SOUP KITCHEN
We have been serving hot meals to the Orange community since 1984. We are able to feed approximately 100 people every Tuesday and Friday from 11:30 a.m.-12: 30 p.m. The meals are served in the Gillespie Building on the First Presbyterian Church campus at the corner of 9th and Green Avenue.

SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE (SHP)
FPCO has partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) to outreach to our community and provide beds for children.  From time to time we will make beds and then deliver them to children in our area.  If you are interested in helping with this new ministry contact the church office 409-883-2097.  Here is a link to our partners website:  https://shpbeds.org/chapter/tx-beaumont/
